Balochistan, the untapped land of stunning places, brings us another trip destination: the Chaaro Machi Waterfall. Let’s see what the hype is about.
I think we can all agree that Pakistan is bestowed with beautiful places that are worth visiting once.
However, we typically look towards the north when we think about trip-worthy destinations, and not the southern part of Pakistan, case-in-point: Balochistan.
Balochistan is a land of wondrous, scenic spots that are perfect for picnics. And with a little bit of development, it can become a complete tourist destination.
Recently, there has been an addition to Balochistan’s known wonders, with the discovery of the Chaaro Machi Waterfall in the Khuzdar district.
So, what’s special about Chaaro Machi?

Judging from the pictures and the reviews on social media, we think Chaaro Machi is not a bad spot to chill (jk, it’s amazing!).
What makes this place magical are the scenic, turquoise-colored pools of water surrounded by date and palm trees that transport you to the oases of Dubai.

Now, there aren’t many places in Pakistan that have such scenic waters, and we think that alone is worth visiting this place for.
But beware, the journey is a bit…umm, extreme.
How to reach Chaaro Machi waterfall?
The reason it took so long to discover this waterfall is because it’s too remote.
To reach Chaaro Machi, you need to travel off-road for about 100 Km from Khuzdar city.
The off-roading is rough, so we advise you to prepare for a “bumpy” traveling experience. Also, there is no specific route leading to Chaaro, so having a local guide will keep you from wandering off.
However, the payoff is terrific, and we believe it is absolutely worth the khuaari.
Isn’t Pakistan Just Amazing?
The problems in our country can sometimes lead us to forget just how blessed we are with natural beauty.
The discovery of Chaaro Machi Waterfall in Balochistan is a reminder of our country’s wonders. And, it creates an urgency for more development in this region to promote and preserve such places.
However, it is also our responsibility to take care of the waterfall and ensure that its charm is maintained for generations to come.
