The family-friendly entertainment spot has an interesting story. The facility is around the exact place where Sir Charles Napier gave the orders to construct the jetty.
Sir Charles Napier was the conqueror of Sindh and Governor of the province from 1843 to 1847. He gave orders to construct the jetty standing under a 150-year old Banyan Tree, around which Napier’s Tavern currently stands. It serves as the primary building for special events held at Port Grand.
Port Grand is located on MT Khan Road, Karachi. The venue has an entry fee of PKR 300 per person, of which PKR 200 is redeemable on shopping and food inside the venue. However, frequent discounts allow buy one get one free entry or free entry on most Visa Cards.
Food Street
The highlight at Port Grand is a hustling bustling food street. The food street is perfect for a quick meal, family dinner, or just a relaxing cup of coffee.
There’s Ghaffar Kabab House for fresh BBQ, Afridi Inn for mouthwatering Karahi, Babujees for an extensive buffet, and City Bistro for continental food.
